chrome R3

I have an immaculate chrome R3 marked Germany on the bottom plate. From the available information that I have only 2000 R3's were assembled in Wetzlar but the serial number of mine1492103 suggests it should have been assembled in Portugal according to available lists. Can anyone through any light on this and does anyone know how many Chrome R3's were assembled in Germany. I would be pleased to know. Many thanks.

I checked the eight R3 serial numbers below 1500000 (ex-Safari ones) I had in my Fontenelle Collection. All except one fit in your list : A chrome 1450456 Germany which, following your list, should be black.

There is also a nº 1492678 black Portugal, not registered in your list.

Here are the eight :
