Fontenelle archives 8 : viewing, the Leica way

Two negative viewers : the NATRA dates 1932, includes a magnifier and an indicator punch. It can be completed by an opal glass NAMAS fitting behind the negative. Later, as from 1936, it was offered with handle as NAKUL, and could also be completed by the same NAMAS.

The VEHIG from 1933 was not exactly a viewer, but a ground glass housing wit a LOOCG 5x magnifier used as a fixed focusing stage.

Thanks, Pecole. As you post these rare and unusual items I will add them to our Leicawiki.

Good idea, Tim ! And I take this occasion to mention something I had fotgotten to say in my description of the NATRA : the one illustrated is quit special, since it displays the recess for the punch button, but not the system itself.
