35mm Cron 8 element black paint version 1

Recommended Posts

Without recent sales, an accurate price can not be established.

I have never heard of a black 8 element, not to say they don`t exist. My catalog does not list one.

AUS is is not the proper abreviation for Australian $. It is AUD. If that is what you mean, $750 is a fair price for a chrome one, black has to be worth more, either a little or a lot more.

Don`t know if V2 was black or chrome. Most 3 &4 were black. I have never seen either in chrome.

My version 1 is a nice match up for my Rigid 50 and 90 2.8. A M2 and Weston Master meter and you are good to go.

Oh yes, they do exist, both in non-goggled and goggled version (for use with the M3), and even in LTM (those are VERY rare though). The price you paid seems to be a bargain IF the lens is in good to mint condition.

Cheers,

Andy

That's right : 8 el. blacks are uncommon but existed officially (not officially the very few in LTM) : very good price, and a desirable lens: post a picture of it ! Is the best way to join the family of this forum, in which all of us give you a warm welcome.

I have attached a picture of the 35mm on my M6TTL.
