dennersten Posted December 25, 2007 Share #1 Posted December 25, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi i got my Summarit two days ago just in time for christmas. Here are two samples for you to look how it performs on film. I live in the dark Nordic, sun is just up 5 - hours now, so it's Noctilux season all day usually. But all these are taken during the same walk on saturday. 2.5 are used, ISO 400. Welcome, dear visitor! JBA Posted December 26, 2007 Share #8 Posted December 26, 2007 The frozen butterfly is quite striking. What are the chances of coming across something that remarkable the first day shooting with a new lens?

Confusion Circle Posted December 28, 2007 Share #10 Posted December 28, 2007 What's with the tab on the edges of the frames?
aesop Posted December 28, 2007 Share #11 Posted December 28, 2007 Fred, I believe the "tab" comes from the film holder/adaptor for the scanner. I noticed it on my Nikon Mark IV scanner and I quite like it . Thanks. Sota.
dennersten Posted December 31, 2007 Author Share #12 Posted December 31, 2007 Very nice! May I know what 400 film were u using? Sorry for late reply, had been in Budapest for some days bathing. And sorry again i don't remember the name of the film. It's a Kodak proffessional film which have been sitting in the freezer at my countryhouse for two years now, and i just took it out for the summarit test. dennersten Posted December 31, 2007 Author Share #13 Posted December 31, 2007 What's with the tab on the edges of the frames? It's some leftover from the scanning , i have Dimage Scan Elite 5400 II, i kind of like it sometimes, and sometimes i am just to lazy to crop thee picture. fotohuis Posted January 11, 2008 Share #14 Posted January 11, 2008 Impressive pictures. I just received mine this afternoon. According the test results of Mr. Puts they seems to be pretty good: Summarit lenses, part two (january 5, 2008) | Photography and image capture: the Leica technique and philosophy by Erwin Puts | Erwin Puts Well, time to test it out myself Welcome, dear visitor! I were out in my summerhouse, checking the fridge this weekend. By the way. I developed the XP2 variation of the old house above. I do think it turned out much better.
