What's the difference between Leica D-Lux 3 and Panasonic LX2?

The larger question is...are there any differences if one shoots RAW (which is quite fast, higher in quality and, from my limited experience, time constraints aside not at all difficult to process). Since RAW is data direct from the chip I would think, since the chips are identical, that there is no difference. Then, jpg finesse aside, the cameras are probably identical. And then you'd have to ask yourself the question is it worth it to save extra boxtops for the Leica. Otherwise, if your intention is to shoot mostly convenient jpgs with the camera's own processing, I'd agree with the above poster and go with the Deutche Lux 3.
