I received a copy of Doug`s book today. I am sure many are familiar with his beautiful nature photography and love of Leicaflex and Telyt 400/560 from http://www.wildlightphoto.com/

The book is beautiful and can heartily be recommended to anyone interested in nature photography,:)

I've studied Doug's book a few times on Blurb, and am very tempted by it.

However, it'll need to hang on as I'm still waiting for an overdue book from them - must have got lost in the post I reckon, but we're giving it six days more.

Doug is alive and well and dreaming of buying an S2 to use until the R10 comes out ;)

I have this book and it is extremely well put together and full of high quality photographs. If you enjoy Doug's work you definitely owe it to yourself to own this book.

Damn! Don't DO that! The title made me think this was an obituary!

I initially thought it was an obit until I noitced the 2007 date. Doug and I have emailed one another in 2008 and he visited a friend who saves injured raptors in 2008, too. However, the title still was a shock.

I, too, thought the worst

We cannot have members younger than me succombing to the grip reaper!

;)

BTW

Doug's photos have delighted me and lifted my spirits many times over

I am definitely purchasing as soon as I figure out how to pay my taxes
