I have a Focoslide, FULDY which i use for close-up photography with my m39 thread mount len's and IIIc camera.

I now want to use my M Bayonet len's on the Focoslide.

Question is ,did Leica ever make a M39/M Bayonet adapter that would suit this purpose.

I think there was an adapter to use the Summicron 50 lens head (VSPOO-16685) and another (VXZOO-16608) for the Elmar 50... but to verify if they fit your FULDY (which had a number of variants) some more info could be needed; btw, I think they are accessories not easy to find... focoslide & co. were specialistic items... I think is difficult that some private person - collector puts such items on ebay or so...

Thanks Luigi for the information.

The Focoslide i have is the M39 threadmount version ,so can be used with any focal length screwmount lens and will focus correctly when set to infinity.

As far as i am aware there was also a M-Bayonet mount version made.

But for me to use M len's on this version i would need a adapter with m39 (male) thread to M-Bayonet (female) fitting.

Do you think this adapter was ever made by Leica?

Any information regarding this greatly appreciated.

I am almost sure that Leica never made a "39 male - M female" adapter (i.e., inverse of the well known "screw-to-bayonet" for LTM lenses on M bodies) ... M lenses are calibrated for a flange-to-film distance 1 mm shorter than screwmount lenses... such an adapter would have had few sense in general terms. I do not exclude that, playing with some combination of the dozens of Leitz-made rings, one can find the way to mount a M lens onto a 39 female screw... but surely losing any capability of focusing with a device like the focoslide.
