csemetko Posted February 15, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 15, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi All, I'm a long time lurker and infrequent poster, but I have some very exciting news: I am very happy to announce my exhibition "Street Photography" is being shown this month at the Leica Gallery in Solms, Germany: Leica Camera AG - Culture - Gallery Solms The exhibit is made up of the same 25 prints that I displayed last July when I co-exhibited with Henri Cartier-Bresson in a show entitled, "Street Photography--From Classic to Contemporary: Henri Cartier-Bresson and Craig Semetko," at the Open Shutter Gallery in Durango, Colorado: Open Shutter Gallery Leica has posted 7 of the 25 images in the exhibition--you can see all 25 images from the show and more at my website: Craig Semetko - Photographer: Thanks to everyone for all the great information, pictures, and advice put forth on this site. I'm very excited--heading to Solms Tuesday to see the exhibit and tour the plant, then on to Frankfurt to see the Leica Gallery there. Should be memorable! Apart from your website I'm glad that Leica shows some of the photos on their website. I a recent article a number of Magnum photographers gave advice on becoming and being a photographer, and funny enough one of the advices given by most was "get a good pair of walking shoes."
