roguewave Posted July 14, 2008 Share #1 Posted July 14, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone have a pdf copy or any kind of copy of the Instructions manual for the R8/9 motor drive? I just got one from ebay and I thought the instruction manual would be included. SILLY ME! I'm not sure what the settings "Ch Cl & S are. I figured out the bracketing (no brainer). The R for rewind I guessed. Still unsure about the lock, does it lock both triggers? Help this poor, dumb man that bought an item and can't figure this out. Thanks, Ben CANCEL THAT REQUEST. I found the pdf. I still will never understand how Leica refuses to put essential information/pdf's online for products it still sells.

rob_x2004 Posted July 15, 2008 Share #3 Posted July 15, 2008 Recently purchased a winder for the M. Took me ages to work out O is for off, I is for wind, II is for wind fastlier. If someone can guide me through the MPs pop up flash and red eye reduction function I would be grateful.

Take one Nikon SC-17 synch cord - attach one end to the MP, and the other to any old flash unit. Hold the flash in the air with one hand while holding the MP the other. Point both devices in the general vicinity of the desired subject and press the shutter button. I think there were a couple of other steps, but I've forgotten them... rob_x2004 Posted July 15, 2008 Share #5 Posted July 15, 2008 Can you advise me on lens length too? If I use one with smaller numbers written on it am I less likely to miss?
