cbretteville Posted September 12, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 12, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Some times a self timer could be handy. I've tried getting an old Kopil to work with my M6, but it dosent push the pin far enough out to set of the shutter. Does anyone know of a make/model that does work? Thanks, - Carl

ckli Posted September 13, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 13, 2006 I believe the protrusion of the pin is adjustable for different cameras.
cbretteville Posted September 14, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted September 14, 2006 It is, but I can't get it long enough to work with my M6. I have another one (different model) coming from DAG that has been verified as working with the M.
wizard Posted September 14, 2006 Share #4 Posted September 14, 2006 Carl, I have one from HAMA where I had to actually shorten the stroke considerably (as I feared if it would push too far it might damage the camera). Try to look for those small mechanical devices called "Autoknips", they are very common (also on ebay) and widely adjustable.
