Alberti Posted August 25, 2013 Share #1 Posted August 25, 2013 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I found this very nice arty design for a Leica, a real gadget to grab. Is this a nice line by Leica or a designer frolic, from Van Soest? Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted August 26, 2013 Share #2 Posted August 26, 2013 I know I've seen the camera this is based on, but can't recall which one. Probably one of the Panasonic Leicas customized.
StephenPatterson Posted August 26, 2013 Share #3 Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) There was a company in Hong Kong called "Gurus" in Happy Valley that was doing this to D-Lux 5s a while back. You could pick and choose colours, then they would have the camera disassembled, painted and re-assembled. Not sure they had many takers. Alberti Posted August 26, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted August 26, 2013 Thanks for tracking it down. Isn't that a nice and charming co-development. 'We' only have the Hermes line of arty designs, it seems, but there is also a lot of life in this type of gadgets.
