hellboyjr Posted August 5, 2006 Share #1 Posted August 5, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I bought my D2 in June of 2004, and then had to send it in for service in 2/2005. Leica service sent me a brand new replacemet D2 at that time. Now it's a year and a half later, and my electronic view finder is acting up (gets many lines of white static through the evf, but the pictures come out fine), so I want to send it back in for service. The warranty card asks when the camera was purchased and the date. Do I just use the original info for where and when it was purchased? Or do I use the Service Center name and the service date, since it is a new camera with different serial numbers? Thanks, Trevor

earleygallery Posted August 5, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 5, 2006 I would send it back with a covering letter explaining the above.
