Advertisement Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Hi jobjob, Take a look here time lap/ long exposure combination with Digilux 2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
integrale Posted October 13, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 13, 2009 Excellent job, jobjob! And job nicely executed. Manually activated shutter, I presume (AFAIK there's no timelap function in the D2 - as in the Nikon D300/700)?
jobjob Posted October 13, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted October 13, 2009 Excellent job, jobjob! And job nicely executed. Manually activated shutter, I presume (AFAIK there's no timelap function in the D2 - as in the Nikon D300/700)? Thanks for the compliment. And it is not done with a handmade manual shutter. I used the Leica remote control and time lap software for the Digilux. Have tested this before in some interviews to make photos between a video session. Some of them i put into a making of i posted here before. Have a look at the interview session with Thomas Hampson making of "prey - stille meine liebe" on Vimeo JJ

jobjob Posted October 14, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted October 14, 2009 Setup is Leica Digilux 2 connected via USB with OQO 01. On the OQO is the Leica remote software for XP which comes with the camera. The software gives you full remote about exposing time, aperture and frame frequence. The stuff at the bottom of the photo is not necessary for timelaps. It is an battery powerd backup drive from NEXTO which i used for backup the OQO.
