abrewer Posted November 24, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 24, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) A little-known program offered by Leica to full and part-time students of Photography, and their faculty, is the Leica Student Assistance Program that discounts Leica camera products at twenty percent across the board--including the new M8 digital camera. If you have a student in the family who qualifies for the discount, or qualify as a faculty member, you might want to take a look at some of the savings possible in this PDF document. Might make a very Merry Christmas for someone you hold in especial esteem! Thanks. Allan leicastudent.pdf

abrewer Posted November 25, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted November 25, 2006 Hi Mike. From the Freestyle Photographic (California) catalog: "You must be a full or part-time photography student or faculty member at an accredited college or university to qualify"...page 55 of the PDF linked below: Freestyle Photographic School Catalog You should check with your local Leica camera dealer to establish what his/her policies are in this regard. Time to go back to school for a refresher course maybe? Thanks. Allan
