A little-known program offered by Leica to full and part-time students of Photography, and their faculty, is the Leica Student Assistance Program that discounts Leica camera products at twenty percent across the board--including the new M8 digital camera.

Hi Mike.

 

From the Freestyle Photographic (California) catalog:

 

"You must be a full or part-time photography student or faculty member at an accredited college

or university to qualify"...page 55 of the PDF linked below:

You should check with your local Leica camera dealer to establish what his/her policies are in this regard.
