msole Posted October 10, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) The ISO value stops showing on the Flash Display as soon as the camera is turned on. What use is there to display a ISO value when the flash in not attached, or the camera is off? Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is it a defect on my unit? Thanks for any help with this! Advertisement Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Hi msole, Take a look here SF58 Flash: ISO not displayed in Flash Dislpay. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest roey Posted October 10, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 10, 2009 The ISO value gets transmitted from the camera when the flash is mounted and the camera is on. But if you have a camera that doesn't transmit the ISO value (e.g. the MP) or if you use a non-standard cable to connect the camera with the flash, the flash allows you to enter the ISO value. So, what you are seeing is not a defect.
