rbaron Posted October 10, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I had really fast service on an M8 shutter upgrade this summer, but although it was promised in 3-4 weeks I've been waiting and waiting on a 28mm Summicron I shipped to them on 8/25 for 6 bit coding; they received it on 8/28. Today they called and said due to two recent retirements they couldn't do it and would have to send it to Germany, which would entail another 4 weeks at the least. Since I'm leaving in two weeks on a trip where I will need it they are instead shipping it back to me, untouched. (They did offer to try to find me a loaner but I didn't see the need to go that route and be responsible for their lens if something untoward should happen to it.)
