JTrunck Posted October 9, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 9, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi everyone. My first post on the forum. I do not own a M9, but wish I did. I'm ready to buy. From experienced Leica owners, what is your opinion of the best place, or places to buy a M9. I knows orders are only s-l-o-w-l-y being filled at this time. I understand your suggestion may not have them in stock yet or at the moment. Your thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. I have bought a lot of gear down through the years, but not Leica heretofore... Thanks, Jim http://www.jimtrunck.com

BRJR Posted October 9, 2009 Share #6 Posted October 9, 2009 I received my Leica M9, on Monday, 05 Oct 2009, from Adorama, in NYC; but, I had pre-ordered it from them (by telephone), even before they had posted the M9 for pre-order on their Web Site. Like most vendors, they are likely filling pre-orders first; and, this could be why such vendors are not showing the M9, as "In-Stock", yet.
JTrunck Posted October 10, 2009 Author Share #7 Posted October 10, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) jjjjuin - Thanks for the Photo Village suggestion. jquimby - Always a good idea; I'll start to pay more attention to the adverts here. Riccis - I knew about them; I live on the other side of Florida; they are only alittle over 2 hours away. I am planning on visiting their store in person. Doug-m - Thanks for the Seattle suggestion. BRJR - Good old Adorama. Nice to hear their supply is trickling in. Based on your info, I"d say they are still a good month taking care of new orders now. And maybe I am being over optimistic. Hope you are enjoying yours; did you get black or steel? I appreciate all of your responses. Thanks. Jim http://www.jimtrunck.com
