Guest Olof Posted November 23, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 23, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) its dicussed that pics taken with a filter, wouldn´t have such a high quality as if you wont take a filter. Can anybody post a scene taken with/without a filter ? I dont think that anybody really can see a difference.
Advertisement Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Hi Guest Olof, Take a look here Does anyone have M8 pics made with filters ? . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jquimby Posted November 23, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 23, 2006 Actually a picture taken with a filter can have higher "quality" than a picture taken without, it really depends on how you define "quality". I would say black showing up as black and not magenta would be higher "quality" even if a filter was used. As far as your request for the posting of photos with and without the filter, have the several hundred that have been posted so far not been satisfactory??? I am fairly confident that Guy Mancuso has posted just about every photo imaginable, in every kind of light, with every type of subject/object/color chart, with and without the IR cut filter. Trying searching with his name and you will find a tremendous amount of photos and an absolutely tremendous amount of work he has contributed to this community and to Leica. cheers, -joe its dicussed that pics taken with a filter, wouldn´t have such a high quality as if you wont take a filter. Peter41951 Posted November 23, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 23, 2006 I assumed pictures with/without a UV filter were intended. Or "skylight". Or completely clear glass!
