tri summarit, please

I love my MATE, but can you imagine what we could do with a tri-summarit? Here is a picture I took yesterday with my MATE at f4 and 35mm setting. It's good but would have been better with the playground background more in the background, in my opinon.

I concur with the above. An interesting concept, though.

If you van build a Noctilux f/0.95 you can also build a tri-noctilux 35-50-28, the prime criterion being the diameter of the front element. At what price is a different criterion.

Besides, if you need more speed, what is wrong with a prime?

 

For the price of a Tri Summarit you could buy two used M6s and used 35 and 50 crons, which in addition to whatever body you have now, would leave three bodies, two primes and a tri-elmar on three bodies if you wished.... or you could buy a used 35 lux asph + used 28 Cron.

 

I often work with a pair of Ms, normally with a 28 on one and 35 on the other. Close FLs? Not to me. Stick a couple of bodies and a handful of lenses in a Domke F6 with your most used lenses mounted. It soon becomes second nature plucking the lens (with body) you know you are going to want in a few seconds.
