Advertisement Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Hi rsolomon, Take a look here digilux 2 digilux 3 battery question. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
miami91 Posted November 22, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 22, 2006 They look to me to be the same. I've sold my D2, so can't do a side-by-side comparison. But the battery for the D3 is model # BP-DC3-U if that helps. Jeff.

karlitos Posted November 22, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 22, 2006 Richard, Edgars reply is a little confusing. The answer to your question is that both batteries will work. (neither of them are the DC4 though! this is for the D-Lux 2) DC1 was the original D2 battery and the D3 has a DC3. The difference is that the new battery is 100mah more powerful. How much difference will this make? probably not a lot! Karlitos.

That's what I thought - this question has been in my mind as I have plenty of spare (unused) batteries for my D2 and didn't want to waste them!
