GavinM Posted September 24, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 24, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) At the risk of stirring up a veritable hornets nest ... given the strong sentiment of feeling regarding the above and the suggestion of misrepresentation on behalf of Leica, why do the parties that feel this way simply not engage legal counsel and put the matter to rest - one way or the other ?. Rolo Posted September 24, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 24, 2009 My opinion is that Leica should continue to develop the M8 firmware and introduce whatever M9 enhancements they can to the M8. We differ inasmuch as I anticipate that Leica will provide such an update as soon as they finish the M9 & S2 launches. They've been 'full steam ahead' for a few months now, so let them catch their breath before making demands re the M8. They have not let their M customers down in the past and I trust that they won't in the future. If they don't, we'll beat the drum together.
GavinM Posted September 24, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted September 24, 2009 Indeed ... time will tell. No differing at all, I was merely suggesting a potential course of action to find remedy for all the customers who feel this way should proactive remediation not be provided by Leica.
