I am also working on profiles but have no filter at the moment. (Heliopan 77mm on order. I have a photo Equip step up deviceoriginally developed for use with a polarizer that would allow me to use thew Heliopan with all the lenses except the CV 15.

 

I would love to borrow the fiilter if you are willing to loan it to me for a while (or sell it to me and I will sell you my Heliopan 77mm as soon as it arrives. Why don't you PM at elwood@wsnconsulting.com. tp let me know

I don't know Woody. Aren't you the character that was hanging out with that Guy fellow on FM? Not to imply quilt by association but.....

 

Well, OK but you have to promise me to get some photos with those nasty greens in them. And email my the DNGs. I am lusting after some fresh DNGs to work on my own color profiles in PS. I actually have some success with this filter and the RD1 but stopped using it because IR problem wasn't that bad. Plus I never was a filter person.

Did you order the 8025 ? The reason I ask is that they have two other folters that they call "digital" filters which are UV cut filters only (2024 & 2025) . The site "fotoshopping" is in German and I can't figure out why they Have 2 UV filters that appear to be the same. But they do have a huge selection of Heliopan filters.

Rex , Woody is one of the best folks around . That be great if Woody can run that test. I will be in Yosemite this weekend with several others and maybe running some more tests as well. There will be on hand Hassy with Aptus 65 back, canon 5d, Dmr, Canon 1dsMKII , M8's. Maybe we will try a 5 camera shootout for a couple shots.
