billhart Posted September 21, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 21, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is there a version of the firmware between 1.201 and 2.004? If so, can I go from 1.201 to 2.004 without intervening versions?

Nicoleica Posted September 21, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 21, 2009 Hi, Although there have been several in-between versions, you can go straight to V2.004 without any problems. Just remember to follow the instructions (On the Leica download page.) exactly, especially the bit about waiting a few seconds, and ensure that you use an SD card, not an SDHC card, for the update. Once the update is completed, you'll be able to use SDHC cards, and have all of the other benefits of the latest firmware.

john_newell Posted September 21, 2009 Share #6 Posted September 21, 2009 Best to be seated when you take a look at the files that come out of the updated camera. I shot one with that version for a while alongside another with the current firmware and the differences, especially in white balance, were eye-opening.
