Lens Hodd

The hood for the 28mm 'cron is wider than that for the 35 'lux, because of the difference in angle of view. But the 35 hood fits the 28 mechanically, and on the M8 it does not vignette. It does on a full frame camera, however.

My (new) 28mm Elmarit and (old) 35mm pre-ASPH has exactly the same hood, except that the the new hood is made of something that looks like rubber and the old of something that looks and feels like plastic.

FWIW I used the 35 lux hood on a 28 cron on film with no noticeable vignetting at all.
