But the 35 hood fits the 28 mechanically, and on the M8 it does not vignette. It does on a full frame camera, however. But the 35 hood fits the 28 mechanically, and on the M8 it does not vignette. It does on a full frame camera, however. My (new) 28mm Elmarit and (old) 35mm pre-ASPH has exactly the same hood, except that the the new hood is made of something that looks like rubber and the old of something that looks and feels like plastic.
