Don'tknowmuch Posted September 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 19, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello all. I'd like a rectangular hood on my Summaron 2.8. Any suggeations? I am aware that there is a Leica part 12526 that should clip on but that will need checking in case it has slightly spun. I don't mind doing this, but most convenient would be one that had a thumbscrew tightening system. I don't want to use an external viewfinder so it needs to be quite small like the 12526. I have heard there is a Cosina Voigtlander hood like this, but don't know for certain or what it might be called. If it's to be the 12526, are these still current, and are they ridiculously expensive? As far as I can see they should cost about £6.00 tops... Thanks for looking and thanks also for any suggestions.
