Shootist Posted September 9, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 9, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been looking at the images of the M9 and it seems the black version has something akin to Camera Leathers GripTac and the grey steel version looks to be using something very similar to what came on the original M8. For those that have, or will shortly have, a M9 could you post pictures of both models with a description of the covering. If I was to buy a M9 I would want it in the grey steel color but if the covering on that model is like the original M8 and the black version came with a covering that you can actuallly hold onto I'd rethink my color choice. peter_n Posted September 10, 2009 Share #4 Posted September 10, 2009 I've been looking at the images of the M9 and it seems the black version has something akin to Camera Leathers GripTac and the grey steel version looks to be using something very similar to what came on the original M8.I handled a black M9 at EP Levine's this evening and the black covering is not like Griptac but more like the "modern" vulcanite on the MP3. I had a Griptac covered MP with me and was able to make a direct comparison.
