ChrisC Posted September 9, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted September 9, 2009 Wilson - Thanks for replying. Tried the site, couldn't view the webcast. Maybe Vimeo is too Flash heavy for my ageing Mac. Oh well! ............... Chris
jeff_clegg Posted September 10, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 10, 2009 I was not able to watch the webcast either. The "Flash" program that was a free download locked my system. When I tried to get into the Webcast, the link was broken. I called Leica USA and was refered to a phone number in New York to a Justin. I left a message, but never received a call back. I think they had big problems.
ericperlberg Posted September 12, 2009 Share #6 Posted September 12, 2009 There's a whole other thread on the web cast started by Mark Norton called Bit of an Anticlimax and its in the digital forum. There was less information revealed in the webcast than in the pdf of the brochure which you can find through google. Don't waste your time trying to watch it is my advice. Bo_Lorentzen Posted September 12, 2009 Share #8 Posted September 12, 2009 there were nothing you did not already know if you have been reading the forum. and interestingly their choice of video-player kind of sucked, it crashed my new mac book pro / firefox 3 times in 30 minutes. which is strange since that have never happened on a webcast before (to me) and there are so many great web-cast solutions. Chris The only thing that we learned really, was how to get a free S2. p.s. I watched it on my Mac using Safari with no problems.
