zlatkob Posted September 9, 2009 Share #21 Posted September 9, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) There is an image of the ceiling of a church that's ISO1600. Take another look. Ah yes, I missed it! Thanks for that. That ISO 1600 photo of the church ceiling looks very good and is certainly an improvement over the M8's ISO 1250. Advertisement Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Hi zlatkob, Take a look here DP review M9 preview - live now. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
plasticman Posted September 9, 2009 Share #22 Posted September 9, 2009 I see that too, I just want to really give the camera a chance, so if I don't feel convinced right away in the store, I will pass for today and wait until Sean's Review is up. Yeah I'm gonna bide my time. A lot of very categorical statements being made all over the place - I just read one guy on another forum saying how those dpreview images show much better dynamic range and color than the M8 - which is patently BS because let's face it those particular images are cr@p. But I'm also sure the M9 can do better than that.
thehouseflogger Posted September 9, 2009 Share #23 Posted September 9, 2009 I am afraid I have to agree about those pictures - I am trying to find point of focus in a few, and in others the exposure is a bit off (allthough I am not one to throw stones). A better range of ISO would have been helpful, together with some night clubby reportage (allthough I would expect some of these elsewhere on this organ tomorrow after tonight!)
