Still, if it came in at around 6K then I'd be seriously tempted. But instead of looking too much at the forum I just took some pictures with my RD1s, D90 and the M8 - the M8 images really do look great! Imagine you traded the M8 for an M9... and then realized you preferred the old camera! No matter what my RD-1 stays but I really think you most likely will prefer the M9 over the M8. You can bet the M9 will be at least $7,900 US. Why would Leica leave money on the table? However, given the early M8 bugs, and the current recession, I'll wait 6 months or so.
