Advertisement Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Hi andreas_thomsen, Take a look here exposure bracketing????. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
adan Posted September 6, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 6, 2009 In the brochure, p.33 (p. 17 of the .pdf) - bottom right paragraph, last sentence: "In addition, the M9 also offers automatic exposure bracketing with a user-selectable number of shots and exposure increments." citizen.one Posted September 7, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 7, 2009 well done, finally it will be easy to take true HDR pics, i've missed a bit it in M8, somewhere ive read it wasnt technologically possible, but noone says why (hope its the feature to do HDR, just to dont look like a fool )
gwelland Posted September 7, 2009 Share #4 Posted September 7, 2009 I often shoot HDR images using my DSLR using exposure bracketing and the most irritating "feature" is that the maximum step value is limited to to 1 stop - i.e. if you want to shoot -2Ev, 0, +2Ev then you need to shoot a 5 shot bracket of -2Ev, -1Ev, 0, +1Ev, +2Ev and discard the unwanted shots afterwards etc. It would be GREAT if Leica supported setting a wider Ev step for HDR. For normal shooting such extremes are obviously less important or useful.
citizen.one Posted September 7, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 7, 2009 totally agree, i'd love this feature, it was the only reason why ive kept Canon, now its unusable. Cant wait for M9 arrival
