As it is clear there is a lot of discussion over a possible M9, as a suggestion how about a new forum specifically for rumors and speculation?

When you look at the M8 forum now, it is almost more about the "M9" than anything else.

I don't think discussion on possible upcoming products is a problem. I just think once it starts to take over the M8 forum, such as you can see now, it warrants a look to consider a new forum (or sub forum?) to keep things organized.

Maybe the forum can be called "Rumor Mill" or something similar.

In 6 days it will all be over

absolutely,

let the show continue right here. this is fun :p.

Btw, didn't we bring you the news, specs and photos of 'M9' and 'X1' ? ;)

seems like we will not be too off the mark - mark our words - but yes, these are still 'rumours'.

once we know what is in the store on 9/9/9 - more importantly how big a hole it will create in our wallet - I am sure many of us will have to call 999 [ in the UK]:D.

Really and truly this speculation and vaporware praise sucks and degrades the value of this forum.

But seeing as the mods has bought into the rampant consumerism vaporware thing - there is no changing. This is why Im not here very much anymore. Its worse than any other rumor site around.

Threads about real and existing products continue to be moved to the alley because its specific about the M8 - yet most all the bandwidth is spent on the M9 speculation. This is not about the M8 either. Its simply random and run according the whims of the fiefdom.

Threads about real and existing products continue ...

Come next Wednesday, only real products will be discussed here.;)

So, please bear with all this 'rants' and see how imaginary products hatch into real things in 6 days - magic !

What you are witnessing is a historical transition from the M8 to M9 era - do you realise how signifcant it is - getting back a full frame Leica, and seeing the Company run full-steam, chasing the big guys in the market?
