Tenor1 Posted November 18, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 18, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Do you shoot in color then convert the picture to B&W on the computer? I have a new V-Lux 1 and after seeing such spectacular B&W shots here want to attempt some. Are there some scenes that better lend themselves to B&W than others? DTD Posted November 18, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 18, 2006 The most flexible way assuming your using PhotoShop is to use Image>Adjustments>Channel Mixer. In the Channel Mixer click the Monochrome tick box and try to make the RGB values add up to 100. It is best if you do this as an adjustment layer. The advantage of working this way is it doesn't destroy pixels and lets you go back to an image.
