Advertisement Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Hi docmark, Take a look here Brightline viewfinder. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest WPalank Posted September 1, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 1, 2009 You don't have to. The bright-line frames for the 24 will automatically appear (along with the 35 frames) once the lens is attached.
hoppyman Posted September 1, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 1, 2009 Which viewfinder do I need to purchase for a 24mm Summilux lens, to use on my M8? Thanks. The 24 mm frame-lines are provided in the M8 finder, however you can choose to use an external one of course. The new Leica 24 external finder contains frame lines for a 24x36 camera as well as a set of crop marks that apply for the M8. It does cost a lot however! The Zeiss and Cosina 25 finders will not work for you. They will work if you are using film or a 24x36 sensor (!), however. You would need one made for 32mm on film, approximately for a 24mm on the M8..
