Finally had the opportunity to get out for a while this weekend with my new 28mm biogon. Strolling around town I really like the lens, however I noticed that when I was focusing close, the lens had more range than the rangefinder. What I mean is once I tried to get closer than say 0.6 meters, the lens had more room to focus, but the rangefinder stopped correlating, Is this a zeiss issue, a leica issue, my camera issue? or something I should have been aware of but just wasn't?

Thanks for your input

Your lens can focus down to 0.5 meters, while the rangefinder is designed for lenses that focus down to 0.7 meters
