mat_mcdermott Posted August 31, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 31, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just wanted to share how I solved a problem that cropped up when I installed Snow Leopard. When I used Photoshop as external editor using Aperture 2.1.3 I couldn't actually save the files -- instead getting error that PS couldn't save the file because it was left open or was in use by another application. Happened both with CS3 and CS4. Upgrade to the latest version of Aperture 2.1.4 and it goes away. Hope this bit of advice saves someone the 30-45 minutes it took me to sort this one out. By the way, even though CS3 is no longer officially supported by Adobe with Snow Leopard it seems to work fine so far.
