My message here only to say the following: I just take some analog bw print made by an old man near the city I live. It is the first time I print in silver gelatin my films. Shots were taken with a Leica M6 and Cron35mm ASPH (and some with an om-2 with a superb 50mm F1.2).

I am totally astonished and even more convinced of the unsurpassed feeling of analog photography.

No more hours spent converting raw files in BW etc..

Just meditate, take your shots, and have the films printed by some expert eyes&hands...

I found XP2 very nice printed manually. XP2 also allowed me to have the negative developed and scanned (to review and see what deserves to be printed) in abut an hour.

Long live to film photography!!

Or you could process and print your own and then the experience is complete. Pan-F Plus and Tri-X are my drug of choice. Only when you use conventional film will you start to detect the various nuances in the neg which is nigh on impossible with C41 film but well done for making a step towards analogue heaven
