If you have it on A the control wheel controls the aperture. If you move the aperture ring it registers on the camera as f1.4 no matter what you have it set as. While it us certainly useable on the E-P1 you would never in you in your wildest dreams think that it looks like a lens designed for the E-P1. Seriously at this point you should wait until next week when we get the Panasonic announcements and you can see pricing on the 20mm f1.7 and perhaps someone will be able to preview it at the show. nugat Posted August 25, 2009 Share #3 Posted August 25, 2009 Agree. Great lens but too big for EP1. It's ok though on G1/GH1. My first pic with it on G1. Welcome, dear visitor! dicko101 Posted August 26, 2009 Share #4 Posted August 26, 2009 nice pic nugat! it's such a great lens but it's never really looked at home on amything but a Digilux 3 i think. Imnotaniceboy, you can try the "4/3 MATCHING SIMULATOR" on the 4/3 website. My personal favourite is the EP1 with the sigma 300-800mm APO

Since I'm just 1.72m tall I could go round and round with that set on my neck and wait to see the beholders' smiles...
