footnoteblog Posted August 22, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 22, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is a purely M-thread, as perhaps specific to digital, because I'm interested in really working this light box like crazy. I shoot infrared at times with the 092 filter and the IR filter off for some fun. Anyone shoot infrared with the new CV 15? How well did it work/not work? I use a FilterView for checking the polarizer, which works quite well. Does anyone make a reverse mount for macro photography (you flip the lens around for a cheap super-macro lens)? Obviously using a digital rangefinder, you're going to have to preview your shot. Lens Baby? Anyone convert these to an M-Canon/M-Nikon/M-Pentax mount? Best one? I think I asked this somewhere before, but I'd prefer all the experimental options here. Any other "non-standard", creative uses for this platform? Leica M to Nikon F adapters are readily available (e.g. from Cameraquest and Novoflex) as well as a few others, so there's no problem fitting a Lens Baby - but without live view or a reflex finder it would be almost impossible to use one. The Nikon adapter also works well with F-mount wide angle lenses: try the big 14mm f/2.8 alongside your little Voigtlander! Get a M42 adapter and you'll be able to fit zillions of old screw-mount and T-mount lenses - and there are reverse mounts for these as well as the Nikons. Also, the Visoflex III, Visoflex I and almost all their accessories can be used on the M8, and lots of other close-up accessories too.
