I would just like to comment on the vast wealth of knowledge that is available in this forum. I would also like to thank all those who share this knowledge so freely. :)

For any who have a question about any aspect of 'M' photography, the amount of help and advice available here is quite staggering. The areas of expertise that may be found here cover every field and discipline.

I'm sure that when a future 'M' owner is having problems with a dodgy ZPM power supply that they bought on E-bay, someone will be able to guide them through building a temporary Naquada generator on their kitchen table, until they can get a genuine ZPM from Leica. :D

It really is heart-warming to be a part of such a community. So once again, a huge THANK YOU to everyone. :)

Nicole,

I fully agree and would like to say thank you as well. Especially for me as a newcomer to rangefinders it is totally invaluable (even if some of the advice may cost money to implement). ;)

Rgds, Per.

Tsk, Nicole, you should be using Naquadria. Far higher yield than Naquada, and more environmentally friendly, even if you do need a voltage converter to compensate for the slightly higher output.

Regards,

Bill

Yes indeed . . . although one wonders what proportion of the readers have a clue what you're talking about :)

Nicole . . . can you translate this apparent gobbledegook!

I'd like to add my appreciation to the forum as well. What fun it is at times like this as well.

Hi Jono,

Which particular gobbledegook did you have in mind though? The Cricket comments should require no explanation to anyone fortunate enough to have been born in the most beautiful island on this Earth (Or in many of the colonies.). The Naquada comments are pretty self explanatory, although I do somewhat disagree that Naquadria is more enviromentaly friendly, seeing as it is rather unstable as has been known to threaten the very existence of some planets. However, the shielding provided by an 'M' casing should help a bit. :D

And a big 'Thank you' to those who have found any of my ramblings to be of help too. :)

Well, they're often helpful . . . and they're ALWAYS entertaining (in the nicest possible way).

Freddie is bowling right now . . . and in my innocence I had you down as Italian - maybe it's the avatar?

as for Naquada, never having been to Kelowna I haven't a clue what you're talking about

About the only reliable info about the M99 is the price tag will me astronomical. I'll have to wait for the M10 so the M9's value is reduced by half, but hey 5K is still allot to cough up. By that time my M8u will be worth $500. Ouch!!

Much more of this and you lot will find yourselves shunted off to Barnacks Bar:eek::eek::eek:

Broadly speaking I'd have said that this thread was perfectly pertinant to the Broad remit of the M8 forum - at least until there is a less Broad M8 forum when the M9 forum will be used for this kind of discussion.

including this one you will have noticed 4 Broad's

Hooray!! (did someone mention Swann?):D
