Some of us, however, are anxiously awaiting delivery of an M8. At a Leica day last week the rep indicated the next batch would have been in the US next week or early the following (due to the holiday). Has anyone heard anything about deliveries? kindly bill In another thread about Banding and Deliveries News -- banding problem and deliveries that is currently on page 3, I mentioned news from my dealer that Leica is holding up shipments until the banding problem is fixed in firmware. The rep told my dealer that it would be another 1.5 weeks. I think this is optimistic. I do still want my camera as well. Regards Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Elsewhere here, Leica is reportedly going to make an announcement on Monday about all this. In any case, whatever the fix, according to my info they plan to do the hardware part before shipping.
