Guest WPalank Posted August 20, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 20, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just got an email from Calumet Photographic that they are offering a Capture One Workshop through Capture One at their San Francisco store on a specific date for $49 which includes the software and a discount on the Pro Price. They are also offering the course at several of the Calumets throughout the US. Unfortunately, Calumet has probably the worst website online so there is no link to all the events just the specific city you want to sign up for via the e-mail. So got to Calumet's website, find events and then put in your city if interested. I also got another e-mail from a photographic shop south of San Francisco mentioning a similar event in their store with no details (discounts, price, dates, etc.) So possibly there will be a upcoming workshop in your neighborhood. roguewave Posted August 20, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 20, 2009 William, thanks. I spoke with the NYC people & I'm going to try & attend. It's 9/23 in NYC. The person I spoke with wasn't sure about the real price of the upgrade to the Pro package.
Guest WPalank Posted August 20, 2009 Share #3 Posted August 20, 2009 Ben, Since you specifically mentioned the New York Event, here's the info: Online Registration by Cvent | Event Summary - CaptureOne 4.0 Workshop for DSLR Users ? erl Posted August 21, 2009 Share #4 Posted August 21, 2009 I think C1 is the best software out there for what it is intended to do, but their user help files are terrible. From what you have described William, it seems this is carrying through into their "on the ground" communication. I hope if you attend the workshop that it is useful. An upgrade fee for the Pro ver. in my opinion is well worth it.
