holmes Posted August 16, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 16, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) We have of course the official Leica repair depot in New Jersey. In Wisconsin we also have probably the finest Leica technician in the US, Don Goldberg, or DAG for short. Leica service is nice if your product is still under warranty. The 'R' equipment I have has long past Leica's warranty time. So do I need Leica for service? It is a moot question. An off topic, saw a new VW convertible yesterday, with the top down, very nice. Now for dependability.

glenerrolrd Posted August 16, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 16, 2009 You need Leica service for any digital product .This can sometimes be an issue when trying to test a lens with a digital body (because the sensor alignment can be a factor).
