RMelville Posted August 16, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 16, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can anyone suggest something (UV pop-in lense, cover?) to protect the lense for the D-lux 3? And how about an inexpensive weather-proof case? I love this camera but I have already given it a few scratches and I'm a wee bit scared I'm going to completely ruin it during one of my travels or adventures! *I have even considered downgrading to the Panasonic "tough" camera (DMC-TS1) just so that I can take it in extreme conditions - I know I have to depart with some of the professional quality/features when I look for a small camera to travel with, but I just don't think I can go that far to give up manual settings/control... I've seen a few products on e-bay and B&H but I thought I'd ask the people :-) Also, any suggestions to correct a small scratch on the lense? It doesn't register in the final image, but I can see it when I look into the lense from above...worrying. Thank you for your time! -Rachael
