Gijs-Jan Posted August 15, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 15, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I own a Digilux-2 and out of curiosity I have tried to find the total number of shutter actuations. I have used several EXIF readers / programs and with none I seem to be able to find the information. Does anyone have a suggestion where to look or what to use? prabuleica Posted August 15, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 15, 2009 i found this info For both Windows and Mac OS X users, the best tool to use is the ExifTool by Phol Harvey. Simply run the following command in a Windows command window or in Mac’s Terminal more open How to Find Out the Total Shutter Actuations of your DSLR - Digital Photography Tips and Techniques
pitti Posted August 16, 2009 Share #3 Posted August 16, 2009 Unfortunately the Digilux2 doesn't save any shutter count into the exif. Possibly the Leica Service has a special tool.
