patrick parker Posted August 12, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 12, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, My M8 is back from Solms, they replaced broken shutter mechanism free of charge and fast .Now the shutter is less noisy somehow. I did not ask for the new quite shutter and I doubt that they gave me one, I say this because the shutter speed dial still has the 8000 on it and it and it functions as 8000. I can't get access to an M8.2 or a different M8 around where I live in order to compare their sounds. I did download the sound comparison files and mine sounds more like the new one or maybe something in between but definitely not the way mine or other M8's I shot with before.
