The problem is showing up with all my SDHC cards, now I will try your solution to format them with a PC, since i regularly use MACs, I know of the differences between formatting quickly or not, but thank you for point this out since I couldn't remember that! It only happened to me in the beginning, when I had just bought the camera. A card I was regularly using on a Canon Digital Ixus didn't work at all on the M8. Neither way to take pictures on it nor formatting it in any way. But it still worked fine on the Canon. But that's the only trouble I had with my cards. SJP Posted August 4, 2009 Share #26 Posted August 4, 2009 Is it worth reinstalling the firmware? Even if it is the latest version sometimes reinstalling can iron out some problems. I keep my fingers crossed, even if the M8 is working properly with my SD (non SDHC) cards till now, so I'm using one of those to reinstall the firmware.
