Hi,

I got just today my M( in Nicosia, Cyprus. I bought it in Germany by Leica Bei Meister. Everything is ok and I am very satisfied with the camera. I will try to have some pic's at the weekend to post, but my first impression was and is very good. The camera is made very good and the color rendition very accurate. The B&W pic's are accurate too. I thought only I can let you know. I am new to M, until now I was photographing with Digilux-2 and R8-DMR and with M8 I wanted to see how it is the feeling to make pic's in M manner. Now I know it, or I think I can understand it, I hope...

My first M, also M8 is coming with 24mm, 2.8 and this lens is incredible.

Regards

I thought I have said I will post a pic from M8. Here is one. Only the pic I made just after I found out how to have it in Black&White. It is nothing but only a pic from my room and the mess there.

No pic, Javad? I also bought from Leica bei Meister. Hamburg or Berlin?

In HH, and Herr MEister MEister has sent it via UPS to Nicosia.

I don't know how to attach a pic to this mail. I have tried a lot of thing but no luck.

Sorry, it was no intention....

I have ordered a long time ago...

Here only a normal and one of the first pic I have made with M8..

After a lot of tries it now worked. The messages should be read first before one complains....

It is only one first pic, I came from the office, and make this pic from my balcony...

Maybe later on other pics

I am, as we said in German 'begeister' von der Kamera...

Regards

BTW, Does anyone know, is there an (perhaps relatively) extreme amount of IR in the sky during 'magic hour?' I figure there could be, since the reddish part of the colorspectrum is also finding it's way through the atmosphere easier than the blue end..?
