M6 Film Counter always 7 frames behind

I noticed an issue with my M6 where the film counter is always lagging by about 7 frames. When I take off the bottom plate, I can see the counter resetting to 7 frames before 0. Of course, it's not hard to figure out where you are in the roll, but I am still wondering whether this is common and if it can be fixed or worked around without a CLA?

Thanks,

Maksim

The frame counter wheel is just fixed/attached by one screw, in the center of it. If that screw becomes loose, because it wasn't tighten properly, the counter can and will rotate fairly easily. The only fix is to take the top plate off, reset the wheel, with the bottom plate off that would be 2 frame before zero, and tighten it, applying some blue (removeable) thread locker on the threads, properly.

Surpirsed they dont use loctite or something. M6 is getting on a bit but loose screws seems to be a common thread with Solms. My shutter speed dial has fallen off twice, following each trip to solms. Providing I find all the bits I can tighten it adequately. Beats me.
