What I think is even better is a M8 image sticky thread. I want to see images and frankly sick of hearing the problems, it is what it is and I just want to shoot the damn thing and I also think posts on how to get a temp fix is important to users and to Leica so my opinion is they should be stickies also. There reference and guides to help folks. For the threads that want to whine just delete them immediately, they serve no purpose but to inflame people. Yes we have issue they were brought to the front now and let's just move forward and get through this. Leica already knows everything that we are exprenceing. I'm not here to bring Leica down and no one else should , what about there future and more important our future products. My small low pressure rant for the day, moving on

i wholeheartedly agree - let's only have positive news about the M8.

Let's get back to those glorious days (before the darn thing was released) when everyone said it was the best camera ever!

Darn pixel-peepers criticising and (yes it's my favorite word to pour disdain on critics) WHINING!

Whining whiners. Who needs them eh? Just think - if we banned all the whiners then maybe we could all pretend that the darn thing really WAS perfect again.... just like in the good old days.

----

Anyways, moving on... and waiting for the (fixed) M8 to arrive.

If we setup a seperate board for the M8, then what else is left in the Leica digital lineup?

DMR? ... all related topics have been beaten to death, the Panasonics? why would we waste Leica's advertising dollars on a truck load of Japanese point and shooters? ;)

Not trying to sweep the bad news under the carpet but it has been said a thousand times before and now it just inflames people so really what is the point , rather this board work on looking for some positives because beside the issues this camera does rock the house and all of that has been left behind. Post that can help , encourage and answer questions is what we should be focusing on and let leica fix the thing. I need Leica around for the next 20 years of my career. I want there gear

I voted no. If anything, I think it would make a modicum of sense to put all digital M posts in one subforum, just to keep things clearly segregated, but then curious people in one direction or the other would have to go out of their way to snoop :)

What would make a much larger difference would be to mark the threads with bright red (or purple) which consist largely of rants and personal attacks, and to mark the threads in green (or perhaps black) in which people are doing constructive things.

I voted to keep it all in one place. Eventually, Leica will resolve the problem and this feeding frenzy will wane. In the meantime, I'm getting quite an education reading posts from some of our technical wizards on here,

i also voted for 1 forum....i have learned more about digital photography since the debut of the m8 than in the preceeding 3-4 years.
